DRESS CODE & ATTIRE

Dress like a dancer and look and feel like a dancer!

All classes 
require appropriate dance shoes and hair pulled back away from the face. Note that tighter fitting attire allows the instructor to assess and correct alignment and technique more readily. Classes noted below have specific requirements other than those in this paragraph.
Free dress days will be announced for children's ballet classes.

Ballet Basics, Boys Class, Home School Ballet, Ballet Open Program, Ballet I, Ballet II, Ballet III, Ballet IV & Ballet V:
Ladies: Black leotard and pink tights with pink shoes. Hair pulled back in a neat bun. Street clothing, t-shirts, sweatpants, shorts, etc. will not be permitted. A tight fitting black or pink ballet sweater and/or leg warmers may be permitted for a portion of the barre exercises with instructor’s permission. Black ballet skirts for pointe class only.

Black tights may be worn for required Jazz/Modern & Pilates classes. 

Gentlemen: Black tights, tight fitting white t-shirt, white or black socks & black shoes

Pre-Ballet: 
Ladies: Pink leotard with pink tights with pink shoes. Hair pulled back in a neat bun or ponytail. A pink ballet skirt or attached skirt is permissible for pre-ballet (no tutus). 

Hair pulled back in a neat ponytail or bun. Please pull short hair back with clips.

Gentlemen: Black tights, tight fitting white t-shirt, white or black socks & black shoes
